Here are some types of hobs to choose from when you are in front of the shelf.
The best known are the gas hobs, although few of those available today look like the old models, the design being more modern, simpler and more efficient. The main argument in favor of purchasing such an option is the lower operating cost, largely determined by the low price of gas.
In addition, they are ideal for those who prefer to see the flame and be able to easily and directly manage the heating intensity. On the other hand, they are a little riskier for people who have small children, because the burners remain hot for quite some time after the end of the meal.
Classic electric version
The electric variants are divided into several categories. For those who simply need a device on which to cook, at a reduced price, there are still classic models with electric resistance and metal surface. However, they are not very efficient and consume a lot, which is why they have obviously decreased in popularity.
The vitroceramic specimens impress you with their appearance, having a cooking surface usually made of black, heat-resistant glass. These include copper coils which, instead of heating, create an electromagnetic field, which in turn heats the cooking vessel directly, stimulating the movement of the particles from which it is made.

The built-in variants integrate best in the image of the kitchen and are especially preferred by those who tend towards a modern or minimalist design, wanting to create a clean and bright space. Although the assembly is simple and fast, the choice is a little more difficult, because in this case the dimensions must fit perfectly with the furniture, the latter being necessary to respect certain conditions related to the structure and the ability to support the weight.
