Simple and unmistakable flavors …
- 6 eggs
- 12 tablespoons sugar
- 7 tablespoons flour
- 50 g melted butter
- 4 apples
- 150 g nuts
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
Method of preparation:
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Mix the yolks well with the butter, beat the egg whites, add the sugar in the rain and beat until the sugar is no longer felt.
Then add the yolks with the butter and at the end the sifted flour. Stir slowly so as not to form lumps, pour into the cake pan and bake for 40 minutes.
Peel an apple, grate it and cut it in half.
When the top has very little time to brown, put the apples on top and leave in the oven at the same temperature to bake. After removing it from the oven, grease the apples with honey.
Prepare the crant from the sugar burned with nuts. Chop the walnuts. Melt the sugar together with a tablespoon of water and when it has acquired a golden color, add the walnuts, mix well and pour in the shape of a flower over the apples.
After the cake has cooled, put it in the fridge for the apples to leave their juice on the counter, and for the crunch to soften.
