  • * 1 packet of pie sheets
  • * 1 kg mere

  • * 50 g butter (will be replaced with oil, in the case of the fasting variant)
  • * 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • * 4-5 tablespoons ground walnuts
  • * oil for spreading sheets (approx. 100 ml)
  • * Syrup:
  • * 1 separate glass
  • * 1/2 old glass
  • * 1 teaspoon of honey

Method of preparation:

Peel an apple, grate it and squeeze the juice. They are hardened with sugar, butter, nuts and cinnamon. Leave to cool, then divide into 2.

The patient sheets are divided into 3 and the size of the baking tray is cut.

Put the first part of the sheets in the oiled pan, each well greased with oil (the oil can be replaced with melted butter), then a layer of apples, on the entire surface of the sheet. Cover with another layer of oiled oil, the rest of the filling. Above we will have the last part of the sheets also greased with oil.

Put the tray in the oven, on the right heat, until it browns.

As the first layer of sheets becomes crispy when baked, I prepared a syrup of water, sugar and honey, which I poured hot over the baked pie. If you like crispy, you can give up the syrup. It is very good and without.

Leave to cool, portion and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
