An appetizer tart (you can also call it pizza, if you want :))) that is prepared relatively quickly, considering that the dough is ready and we get rid of kneading.

It's very good to have a packet of puff pastry in the freezer… it gets you out of the mess, because you want sweet, because you want salty…

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 chicken breast
  • a few slices of bacon
  • a few mushrooms
  • 1 can of tomatoes in juice
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 green basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • a few slices of mozzarella

Preparation Tart with puff pastry:

The chicken breast is cut into cubes of the right size. Season to taste with salt and pepper, sprinkle with soy sauce and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.

Fry the bacon in a non-stick pan until crispy. Add the chicken breast and turn it on all sides until it turns white. Add the tomatoes and juice and mix well. Leave it on the fire until the meat is cooked and the juice has dropped enough. Near the end, add the sliced mushrooms and the basil leaves torn by hand.

Set aside and leave to cool.

We place the thawed dough sheet in a tart pan, covering the edges. We cut the excess dough.

Put the meat composition and cover with a few slices of mozzarella. You can also use cheese.

We put the rest of the puff pastry on top, in various shapes, according to preference. I made a long, thin roll of dough that I "knotted" there. :))))

Bake until lightly browned on top. Serve hot.
