- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 star anise
- optional sugar
Method of preparation:
Wash the apples, cut them in half and remove the stalks.
Cut the apples into slices and place them in the bowl of the Crock-Pot.
We put the cinnamon stick, the star anise and optional sugar depending on how many apples we have and how sweet we want the compote.
Pour enough water to contain the apples and turn the device on High for about 2 hours.
After 2 hours we will have an extremely fragrant compote only good for these cold days.
