I don’t know what the origin of this recipe is , I have known it for a long time, even from the time when I didn’t take pictures of food. It is certain that many people made it and it underwent changes over time. However this recipe with turkey meat will always look great among other appetizers on any festive table
- For the dough:
- 150 ml water
- ~ 250 g flour
- 1 teaspoon dried yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon oil
- For the filling:
- 1 chicken breast
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 carrot
- 1 or
- salt and pepper
- green parsley
- In addition, we also need:
- a few slices of mozzarella
- 1 egg yolk + 1 tablespoon milk
Preparation of bacon wrapped turkey meatloaf keto:
The yeast is mixed with the sugar and dissolved with a little warm water. Leave to rise for 10 minutes. Put flour, salt and oil in the bread machine bowl (or in a bowl if you knead by hand). Add the mayonnaise and the rest of the water and knead a suitable hard dough, which is left to rise for half an hour.
Chop the chicken breast, then mix with the finely chopped carrot, crushed garlic, egg, chopped green parsley, salt and pepper to taste.
The dough is spread in a tray (tart, I put) greased with oil. Lift the dough a little on the edge of the tray. Place the filling on the edge, forming a ring.
Cover with thin slices of mozzarella. The middle is increased with a knife or a roll to cut the dough, in the shape of a star, forming 8 triangles. Each triangle is then pulled over the meat, sticking the tip to the edge of the dough. We “dissolve” the yolk in a little milk, then grease the crown with a brush. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Put the pan in the oven over medium heat, until browned, about 30-40 minutes, depending on the oven of each.
