Baked peppers with sour cream sauce

Every time I go to the market, when I see bell peppers, the first food that comes to mind is peppers baked with sour cream . It's the best summer food, a food I would eat every day. Sometimes I do it in winter too… What's more! By far, it's my favorite food!

Baked peppers with sour cream sauce

  • ~ 1 kg of bell peppers
  • 400 g sour cream (the fatter the better 😉)
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • a few tablespoons of milk

Preparation Baked peppers with sour cream:

The baked peppers are cleaned, the stalks are removed and thin strips or cubes are cut, according to preference.

Mix flour with sour cream and dilute with a little milk, stirring vigorously so as not to form lumps. Add the pepper slices and put on low heat, stirring. Keep it on the fire for a few minutes from the moment it reaches the boiling point, just enough to homogenize the sour cream sauce and combine the flavors. Finally, season with crushed garlic, salt and pepper to taste.

They are served hot, but also cold they are very good. 😉
