Baked pumpkin with herbs and parmesan

I noticed that pumpkin is usually associated with dessert recipes. I have no doubt that it is a good combination with sugar and cinnamon, especially if it is in a delicious pie 😉

What I propose to you today is a pumpkin-based appetizer recipe, a simple recipe starting from the preparation and the ingredients. So, baked pumpkin with herbs and parmesan, a dish that will fill our souls in the middle of winter 🙂

  • pumpkin
  • salt and pepper
  • basil and rosemary
  • oil
  • Parmesan

The quantities depend on everyone's preference

Preparation Baked pumpkin with herbs and parmesan:

Cut the pumpkin in half and clean the seeds.

Grease very well with oil. Salt, pepper to taste and sprinkle with chopped green rosemary and dried basil. At the end, sprinkle a generous layer of Parmesan cheese.

Put the pumpkin in a tray lined with baking paper and bake on medium heat for about half an hour, until the pumpkin softens. The test is done with a fork.

Cut into slices and serve hot or cold, as you prefer. I liked it colder 😉
