That I like to make sweets I think is known :)) And although I love chocolate, I will never give up on an apple pie, especially if it has caramel. 😉
It's not hard to do at all, it's really quick and delicious.
- For a small shape 18 cm in diameter:
- 1/2 puff pastry sheet
- 100 g Almette cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon soft butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- For caramel:
- 75 g old
- 50 g butter
- 50 ml whipped cream
- apples, enough to cover the entire surface of the tart
Preparation Apple pie and cream cheese:
The dough is cut to the size of the bowl in which we will bake the tart. Grease the dish with a little oil and line it with baking paper. Place the dough in a bowl and set aside.
Almette cream cheese is mixed with sugar until fluffy. Then add the butter, mix and flavor with cinnamon. Put the cream over the puff pastry. Place the sliced apples on top of the cream.
We put the caramel sugar in a melted pot. When it has become golden, add the butter and cream for the whipped cream and stirring constantly, boil until the caramel melts. Set aside and let cool. When it became warm, we poured it over the apples.
Put the dish in the oven over medium heat for about half an hour, until the edges of the puff pastry are lightly browned.
Allow to cool, then portion as desired.
