You know how a wonderful story begins. With "once upon a time"… Once upon a time there was a mogul, bald and blackish :)) who filled our hearts with joy. Amira's 2 years have passed in a hurry, the baby period is far behind. Now she is a full-fledged young lady, who amazes us from day to day with her achievements.

Happy birthday our dear! To be healthy and the way of life to be sprinkled only with joys.

Initially I wanted to make a big bear on the cake, but then I realized I didn't have room in the fridge. :)) So I made 2 smaller ones. Too small for my patience for details, but the important thing is that he realized that they are teddy bears. :))

Ingredients:

  • For teddy bears:
  • 250 g regular biscuits
  • 350 ml condensed milk
  • 50 g butter
  • 20 g black cocoa
  • 100 g walnuts
  • For Dobos sheets:
  • 9 eggs
  • 225 g sugar
  • 110 g flour
  • 40 g starch
  • vanilla
  • For the cream:
  • 6 eggs
  • 270 g sugar
  • 225 g dark chocolate
  • 300 g butter
  • For the chocolate icing:
  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 150 ml liquid cream
  • 50 g butter
  • Chocolate "fur":
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 150 ml liquid cream

How to prepare Dobos Cake with teddy bears:

I made the bears from the composition of biscuit salami.

I ground the biscuits with cocoa and walnuts. I added melted butter and condensed milk. The composition must be soft, but firm enough to be shaped.

For the base of the cake I made the Dobos cake recipe from Narnia .

Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Rub the yolks together with the sugar and vanilla until they turn white and become like a cream. Whisk the egg whites hard as for meringue, with a pinch of salt. Add to the yolk composition and mix lightly, with movements from top to bottom, with a wooden spoon. Then comes the flour, mixed with starch.

I baked the sheets in a 25/35 cm tray, lined with baking paper. Put a thin layer of dough, spread it as evenly as possible and put it in the oven heated to 180 degrees for 5 minutes, until it starts to brown.

  • The sheets are soft and break easily, so they must be handled with care. They do not overlap, otherwise they stick together.

It would be best to prepare the cream first, then as the sheets are removed from the oven to "build" the cake. When a sheet is removed from the oven, the cooled one is placed on the cake.

Beat the eggs with the sugar until they turn white and double in volume. Place the pot on a bain-marie and boil until the composition begins to thicken. Add the broken chocolate pieces and continue to boil until the cream becomes thick and sticky. Leave to cool, during which time the butter is rubbed.

Add a tablespoon of the cooled chocolate composition to the butter foam and mix.

Over the sheets filled with delicious chocolate cream , I poured a chocolate icing:

Melt the chocolate together with the whipped cream and the butter, mix well and leave to cool. Pour on the cake when it has reached the consistency of a thicker cream.

I garnished it with whipped cream and colored coconut. I dressed the teddy bears in a delicious chocolate fur :))

I melted the chocolate together with the whipped cream and left it to cool. After complete cooling, I mixed until I got a fluffy cream.

I still have enough of this cream and some composition of biscuit salami, from which I improvised a roll for children.
