I think it is one of the finest beef stews I have prepared! Potato dumplings are wonderful, and with this stew that has a delicious sauce, it combines perfectly and you get a dish to lick your fingers literally. You can also cook it on the stove, just make sure you have a young veal, not to cook it for a few hours. Since I have this device, I always make beef with it and it comes out very tender! I highly recommend you try the recipe!

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg of beef pulp
  • 2 large onions
  • 3 peppers kapia mari
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 cup tomato juice
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried vegetable mixture
For potato dumplings:
  • 300 gr boiled potatoes
  • 1 or
  • 5-6 tablespoons flour
  • salt
  • pepper
Method of preparation:
Wash the beef and wipe it with some napkins.
Cut it into suitable pieces.
Peel an onion, finely chop it.
Peeled peppers and seeds, cut into cubes.
Cut the peeled carrot into thin strips.
Connect the appliance to a power source, turn on the oil.
Set the Brown / Saute function for 10 minutes and press High.
Press the Start button and add the meat.
Saute it well on all sides, then add the onion, carrot and pepper.
Simmer everything for another 4-5 minutes, then add 3/4 cup of water, salt, pepper and vegetable mixture.
Pour the tomato juice, mix well.
Press Stop.
Put the lid on, make sure the steam valve is closed.
Set the Meat / Stew function for 40 minutes, High pressure.

During this time prepare the dumplings:
Boil the boiled potatoes and let them cool.
Add egg, flour, salt and pepper.
Mix well until you get a homogeneous and slightly sticky composition.
Line your hands with a little flour, break pieces of dough and form balls.
Put some boiling water in a saucepan with a little salt.
When the water boils, turn the heat to set, add the dumplings.
Boil them for 15 minutes.

If a dumpling catches the bottom of the pot, use a spatula to loosen it slightly.
After they have boiled, using a spatula with holes, take them out on a plate.
When the stew time is over, press Stop and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Using a paddle, set the steam valve aside and only after all the steam has come out, open the lid.
Put the dumplings in the stew.
Press the Brown / Saute function, High pressure and bring a few more boils, to penetrate the aroma of the stew and in the dumplings.

Press Stop and disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
Serve hot!
