Colac recipe with cinnamon and honey
I really like the smell of cinnamon when the weather is dark and gloomy. I probably associate it with the winter holidays and Santa Claus. :))) And if I also liked Diana's cake, I decided to give the dwarfs a sweet, fluffy and fragrant joy, a cake with cinnamon and honey 🙂
braided sweet bread with cinnamon and honey
“>2 tablespoons sugar
“>50 g butter
“>1/2 teaspoon salt
“>For the filling:
“>4 tablespoons sugar
“>100 ml water
Preparation Cork with cinnamon and honey:
We make a yeast mayonnaise mixed with 1 tablespoon of sugar, a little warm milk and a little flour. Homogenize and leave in a warm place until it swells.
Put the mayonnaise in the pan of the bread machine, then add the eggs, the rest of the sugar, the salt, the melted and cooled butter, the flavors, the remaining milk and the flour little by little. Knead until all the ingredients are incorporated and obtain an elastic dough. Let it rise until it doubles in volume.
If necessary, add a little flour.
Knead the dough a little and then spread it on the lightly floured table in a rectangular sheet about 1 cm thick. Grease the sheet with soft butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon on the entire surface. Roll the sheet lengthwise as tightly as possible.
We put the roll in a large stove tray lined with baking paper and give it a round shape, like a roll. 🙂 With a kitchen scissors we cut the coil from place to place. We then draw each slice, one on the left and one on the right, twisting it slightly, so that it is "face" up. 🙂
Leave it for a few minutes in a warm place, to rise, then put it in the oven over medium heat, for about 30-35 minutes. About 10 minutes before it is ready, take the tray out of the oven and sprinkle the coil with honey syrup, then put it back in the oven.
