brownies with rum and sweet cheese

brownies with rum and sweet cheese

* For the dough:

* 250 ml milk
* 1 tablespoon sugar
* 2 tablespoons honey
* 1 or
* 50 g butter
* 10 g of dry yeast
* ~ 550 g flour

Yeast mixed with sugar dissolves in a little warm milk. Sprinkle a little flour and leave to rise.

The rest of the warm milk is mixed with the melted butter, honey and beaten egg. We put the flour in the tub of tomorrow's car and pour the mixture with milk and mayonnaise on top. Knead an elastic and non-sticky dough. If it is kneaded by hand, put the flour in a bowl, make a hole in the middle in which we pour the mixture of milk and mayonnaise, then gently incorporate the flour from the edges to the inside. The dough is left to rise for about 1 hour, until it doubles in volume.

* For the filling:

* 500 g sweet cheese
* 100 g sugar (or to taste)
* 1 or
* 2 tablespoons starch
* free of rum

The cheese is mixed (or mixed with the vertical blender) with the egg, sugar, rum essence and starch. Starch can be more or less, depending on how dry the cheese is. We must have a homogeneous cream that does not flow.

* For anointed

* 1 yolk
* 2 tablespoons milk

After leavening, the dough is divided into 18 pieces, which are shaped into balls. Each ball is then spread with a rolling pin, up to a thickness of about 0.5 cm. Put 1 tablespoon of filling in the middle of the circle of dough, then gather the edges forming a ball. We put the obtained balls in a tray of muffins well greased with butter and lined with flour. Leave it to rise a little, then grease it with the yolk dissolved in milk.

I put the balls with my "mouth" up and I had a few that came loose, I probably didn't stick them too well. To avoid this and to make them look more beautiful and good-looking, bake them with the bottom up. :))

Bake in a hot oven over medium heat until golden brown.
