The magical time of year is approaching when, together with the youngest or oldest, we prepare for the holidays.
I want peace, peace, but especially health. I admit, I spend beautiful moments, cake with the two dwarfs in the family. This time I tried a very simple recipe for cookies that resemble liners, with the mention that they are NOT liner cookies. Their recipe will follow.
This time, I used a recipe from three simple ingredients.
I filled them with a strawberry jam, powdered them with a little vanilla sugar and enjoyed them with a cup of milk.
Simple, easy and good!
I wholeheartedly recommend these butter cookies filled with strawberry jam!
Preparation time: 40 min Servings number: 25
- 80 gr vanilla powdered sugar
- 180 gr butter
- 360 gr white wheat flour
- a pinch of salt
- strawberry / apricot jam
Store the butter for an hour at room temperature.
In a bowl, mix the butter with 50 g of vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt. I use powdered sugar in which I added seeds and dried vanilla pods. If you prefer, you can add the flavors you like.
Add the flour, stirring until smooth. The dough will come out slightly crumbly, but as you knead it, the butter softens and the dough becomes malleable.
Spread a sheet of dough in a thin layer. Cut appropriate discs in equal numbers. Half of them are cut in the middle, depending on the utensils or cutters that each has. I cut out a star.
Place in a tray lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes at 170 degrees. The cookies are extremely fragile, so it is recommended to leave them to temper in the pan, then transferred to a kitchen grill to cool completely.
After they have cooled, they are filled with a little strawberry or apricot jam, glued with the cut “cap” and placed on a plate. Powder with the remaining vanilla sugar.
Do not be afraid that the core will also powder, it will melt and absorb the powdered surplus.
Easy, simple and fast! Extremely tender and tasty these butter cookies filled with strawberry jam!
May it be useful to you too!
