* 2 eggs
* 150 g sugar
* 100 g butter
* 220 ml milk
* 250 g flour
* 1 baking powder
* 1 teaspoon cinnamon
* 1 large apple

Soft butter at room temperature is mixed with sugar and a pinch of salt. Add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each one. Pour the warm milk, little by little, then gently incorporate the flour mixed with baking powder and cinnamon. We put the apple on the grater with large mesh or cut it into cubes, according to preference and incorporate it into the dough.

The composition is poured into a cake pan well greased with butter and lined with flour.

* For the crust:

* 3 tablespoons flour
* 3 tablespoons sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
* 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
* 2 tablespoons soft butter
* 1 tablespoon ground walnuts

Mix flour with sugar (preferably powder), cinnamon, nutmeg and ground walnuts. We put the butter and quickly knead with our fingertips until we get some crumbs that we sprinkle over the dough.

Put the pan in the oven over medium heat until golden brown. The toothpick is tested.

* For caramel:

* 100 g sugar
* 1 tablespoon butter
* 50 ml liquid cream

The sugar is caramelized over low heat. When it has become liquid, add the butter and whipped cream, carefully and mix well. Boil over low heat until the sugar melts and the sauce thickens. Leave to cool.

The cold cake is covered with a layer of caramel and portioned.
