For today I prepared a cake with cherries . Even if I dreamed of a cherry cake , since I saw them on the stalls in the market, I finally replaced them with cherries, when I found them to have "visitors". :))
- 2 eggs
- 150 g sugar
- 9 tablespoons oil
- 9 tablespoons milk
- 12 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
- 1 baking powder
- cherries (I do not have an exact amount, it should have been about 300 g, but put as you like)
Preparation Cherry cake:
Remove the cherry seeds and, if necessary, clean them of "visitors" :)) Put them in a sieve to drain the excess liquid.
We mix the eggs with a pinch of salt until they double in volume. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar and mix until the composition becomes like a cream. Add the oil and mix well. Gradually incorporate the flour mixed with baking powder, alternating with milk. We will obtain a cake-like composition, which we will pour into the tray (25/35 cm) lined with baking paper.
Put the cherries over the top composition, then mix lightly with a spoon, to cover the cherries, here and there with dough.
Put the pan in the oven over medium heat until the cake is lightly browned on top. Leave to cool in the pan, then portion as desired.
