chicken and sundried tomato pie for toddlers

This chicken and tomato pie was a real hit. The dwarves liked it very much, and that "mommy, do it for us" delighted me the most. :)) I kindly invite you to a portion.

  • For the dough:
  • 150 ml water
  • 250 g black flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • For the filling:
  • 1/2 chicken breast
  • 100 g bacon
  • 1 can of tomatoes in juice
  • 1/2 clove garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano
  • For the crust:
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g cheese
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • salt and pepper
  • dehydrated dill
  • For decoration:
  • 1 red
  • 50 g cheese

Preparation Chicken and tomato breast tart:

It took:

The yeast is mixed with the sugar and dissolved with a little warm water. Leave to rise for 10 minutes. Put flour, salt and oil in the bread machine bowl (or in a bowl if you knead by hand). Add the mayonnaise and the rest of the water and knead a suitable hard dough, which is left to rise for half an hour.

We put the diced chicken breast in a frying pan together with the sliced bacon. When the fat on the bacon has melted and the meat has lightly browned, add the tomatoes with the juice and crushed garlic. Homogenize and season to taste with salt, pepper and oregano. Boil until the juice decreases and the meat is well cooked.

In a deep bowl or plate, mix the cheese with the sour cream and the 2 eggs. Season to taste with salt, pepper and dill.

We spread the dough and put it as a base in the shape of a tart. Fill the tart with the meat mixture with tomatoes, then pour the cheese and sour cream mixture on top. Sprinkle with grated cheese on a large-mesh grater, garnish with tomato slices. Bake on medium heat for about 40-45 minutes.

It is served hot, but it is just as good and cold.
