Because I want to prolong the Christmas atmosphere a little more, today I bring you these chocolate and vanilla cookies that we will prepare for Christmas as well. We will leave them to Santa near the Christmas tree, next to a glass of milk. Because Santa drinks milk too , doesn't he? :))

chocolate and vanilla chip cookies

Ingredients:

  • For the vanilla dough:
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 or
  • 50 g ground almonds
  • ~ 250 g flour
  • 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • For the chocolate dough:
  • 100 g butter
  • 50 g dark chocolate + 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 or
  • 100 g sugar
  • ~ 250 g flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa

Preparation Chocolate and vanilla cookies:

Vanilla dough:

The soft butter, at room temperature, mixes with the sugar and vanilla sugar until it becomes like a cream. Add the egg and mix well. Ground almonds, baking powder and a pinch of salt are mixed with flour, mix and pour over butter cream. Put the dough in cling film and let it cool for at least 1 hour.

Chocolate dough:

Melt the chocolate in the microwave with 2 tablespoons of milk. Homogenize and leave to cool.

The soft butter at room temperature mixes with the sugar until it becomes like a cream. Add the egg and mix well. Then add chilled chocolate and flour mixed with baking powder, a pinch of salt and cocoa. Let cool for 1 hour.

We divide the vanilla dough into 2 parts. So is the one with chocolate. Each part of the dough is spread in the form of a roll and we group 2 of them, one white, one black. Roll the dough rolls, then roll them with your palms on the table, forming a larger roll. With a piece of thread we cut slices from the dough roll, which we will then put in a tray lined with baking paper.

Put the pan in the oven over medium heat, for about 15-20 minutes, until it starts to brown on the sole. Remove to a grill and leave to cool.
