A homemade cake very easy to make, but very tasty. Besides all this, it is also very attractive. We are never missing from the festive holiday table 😉
- * For countertop:
- * 6 eggs
- * 200 g sugar
- * 50 g butter
- * 1 baking powder
- * 1 cana faina
- * vanilla essence
- * For the chocolate sauce:
- * 400 g chocolate
- * 200 g butter
- * ~ 50 ml milk
- * free of rum
- * For the "roll" :))
- * ground nut
Preparation "Tavalita" cake with chocolate:
Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt. Add sugar and vanilla essence and mix until glossy, like meringue.
Mix the yolks with the melted butter and pour over the egg whites. Add flour mixed with baking powder and mix.
Pour the composition into a tray (25/35 cm) lined with baking paper and put in the oven over medium heat until browned. The toothpick is tested.
The baked and cooled top is cut into cubes of the right size.
Melt the chocolate together with the soft butter, then add the milk and mix well. If more is needed, add more milk, just enough to get a sauce the consistency of a thin cream.
We pass each cube on the countertop through the chocolate sauce, on all sides, then we roll it through the ground walnut, in abundance.
