- 520 g flour
- 1 or
- 1 cana kefir
- 100 ml of milk
- 60 g butter
- 75 g old
- 10 g dry yeast
- candied orange peel
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- chocolate cream (Finetti, Nutella)
- colored candies
How to prepare Chocolate Donuts – Donuts:
I prepared the dough at the bread machine, but it can also be prepared manually, for those who do not have a machine.
Put the butter and sugar in the milk, then heat gently until the butter and sugar melt.
Put the flour in a bowl, make a hole in the middle and put the egg, yeast, salt and kefir. We start to mix lightly, then gradually add the milk mixed with butter and sugar. Knead until you get an elastic and non-sticky dough.
Cover with a towel and leave to rise until it doubles in volume.
Knead the dough a little, to let the air out of it, then spread it on the table sprinkled with a little flour, in a sheet about 0.5 cm thick. Cut circles with a cookie cutter or a glass, then with a smaller round shape, cut out the middle of the large circle. Knead the remaining dough again and repeat the operation.
Leave a little more on the table to grow, then fry in very hot oil. Remove on an absorbent towel.
Heat a little chocolate cream, to become fluid. We take each donut, pass it through the chocolate, put it on a plate, then sprinkle with colored candies.
