Today the weather in Iasi is… brrrr…. :)) So I invite you to a steaming coffee, to warm up and a chocolate cake , so that we can have fun. :)))
- For the countertop:
- 5 eggs
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 5 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- vanilla essence
- For the cream:
- 200 g chocolate truffles (with oranges)
- 200 ml liquid cream / whipped cream
- For the glaze:
- 100 g milk chocolate
- 2 tablespoons milk
Preparation Cake with chocolate truffles:
Ouale is separated. Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt. Add the sugar and mix until you get a hard and shiny foam, then put the yolks rubbed with oil and vanilla essence, as for mayonnaise, mixing gently. Flour mixed with baking powder and cocoa is easily incorporated into the composition, with movements from bottom to top.
The composition is divided into 2 and bake 2 sheets in a tray (25/35 cm) lined with baking paper, over medium heat, for about 15 minutes each. Remove to a grill and leave to cool.
Put the chocolate truffles in a bowl, pour the whipped cream on top and put the bowl on low heat.
Bring to the boil, set aside, mix and refrigerate for a few hours, until the composition hardens, then mix it until you get a fluffy cream.
Melt the chocolate together with the milk in a bowl over low heat on the stove or in the microwave, as it is easier for you.
On one of the countertops we put the chocolate cream, level and cover with the second countertop. Let cool for at least 1 hour, then glaze it with chocolate and portion.
