Cornulets recipe with walnuts and vanilla
I love cakes , especially those homemade cakes that are made quickly and easily. 😀 So, like these croissants with walnuts and vanilla . They are made so easy that I had no problem “spinning” with them with Amira. Surely Santa will be very happy that the little one is so hardworking, but especially with these walnut croissants , tender and good. 😉
Cornlets with walnuts and vanilla
- 200 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 2 yolks
- 100 g ground walnuts
- 300 g flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- vanilla essence
- a few drops of almond essence
- powdered sugar for finishing
Preparation Cornlets with walnuts and vanilla:
The soft butter at room temperature mixes with the sugar until it becomes like a cream. Add the yolks one at a time and mix well after each one. It is flavored with vanilla and almond essence. At the end, add the ground walnuts and flour mixed with a baking powder and a pinch of salt. Refrigerate the dough for about half an hour.
They break pieces of dough and shape them into the shape of thin rolls, the size of a finger, then give them the shape of croissants, horseshoe or rainbow, as my son told them. :))) Tell them how you like it! 🙂
Place in a tray lined with baking paper and bake on medium heat for about 15-20 minutes, until lightly browned.
Put powdered sugar on a plate and roll the croissants, well, on all sides. Be careful how you handle them, as they are very tender.
