Dessert cake with whipped cream and blackberries

Homemade puff pastry is very good, but the one I bought is just as good. 🙂 It immediately gets you out of trouble if you are invited to a guest or if you want to eat something good, but you don't really feel like it or spend time in the kitchen.

For today, a quick and tasty dessert to the last… blackberry! :))

Dessert cake with whipped cream and blackberries


  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 250 ml whipped cream + 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • blackberries or other fruits, as preferred
  • 1 egg yolk + 2 tablespoons milk, greased
  • chocolate sauce, to serve

Preparation Dessert with whipped cream and blackberries:

Thawed puff pastry dough cut into appropriate large rectangles. Place in a tray lined with baking paper, grease with egg yolk mixed with milk and put in the oven over medium to high heat for about 20 minutes, until the dough is "wrapped" and lightly browned. Leave to cool.

Cream for whipped cream mix until it begins to gain consistency. Add the sugar and mix until firm and fluffy. If necessary, a whipping cream hardener can be added.

Put the whipped cream over each puff pastry rectangle and cover with fruit.

When serving, overlap 2 and sprinkle with chocolate sauce.
