A few fasting recipes, I admit. I try to fix this disadvantage as much as I can :))
For today we have prepared a delicious fasting pie with mushrooms. The ingredients are for a small tray (towards very small :))) or more precisely for a single portion.
- For the dough:
- 1 cana faina
- 2 tablespoons basil flavored olive oil
- warm water (enough to get a firm and non-sticky dough)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- For the filling:
- ~ 200 g mushrooms
- 1 onion
- salt and pepper
- green parsley
Method of preparation:
We put the flour in a bowl. Make a hole in the middle, add a pinch of salt, oil and baking powder. Stir slowly by hand and slowly pour warm water until the dough "binds". Knead a smooth and non-sticky dough, which we cool until the filling is ready.
Finely chop the onion and lightly fry it in a few tablespoons of oil. When the onion has softened, add the chopped mushrooms. I chopped some of them into small pieces and cut the rest of the mushrooms into pieces. Boil over low heat until all the juice left by the mushrooms decreases. Near the end we match the taste of salt and pepper, add a little chopped green parsley and a few cloves of crushed garlic. Set aside and leave to cool.
Divide the dough into 2. Spread some of the dough in a heat-resistant dish greased with very little oil. Add the mushroom filling and cover with the second part of the dough.
Put the dish in the oven over medium heat, until the pie is lightly browned on top.
Leave to cool, then portion as desired.
It is very good and warm, but I liked it colder.
