Fluffy check recipe with walnuts and cocoa
- 4 eggs
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon candied orange peel

Well, when we don't have time for elaborate cake recipes, we also resort to a fluffy and simple and economical cake recipe, like the one I brought you today 😉 Then, I don't know how to tell you, but as simple as this cake is, it's just as tasty. For me, the most telling proof is that in a few hours the fluffy cake was just a memory. Are you trying too?
Preparation Fluffy cake with walnuts and cocoa:
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt. When the foam has hardened well, add the sugar and continue mixing until you get a firm and shiny meringue.
Separately rub the yolks with the 4 tablespoons of oil. Pour the obtained emulsion over the egg white foam and mix lightly, at the lowest speed of the mixer. Sift the flour together with the baking powder and add it to the composition, mixing lightly with a spatula, with movements from bottom to top.
Divide the composition into 2 equal parts. In one part we sift cocoa and flavor with rum essence, in the other we incorporate candied orange peel.
In a cake tray lined with baking paper we pour the 2 compositions on top of each other, in what order you want. The walnut is broken by hand and sprinkled on the entire surface of the composition in the tray.
Put the tray in the oven over medium heat for about half an hour, until it passes the toothpick test.
Allow to cool, then slice as desired.
