french sweet pancakes for breakfast

I haven't eaten skewers in a long, long time. I don't know how, but I've never made this dessert for kids. And since I had some old bread for about 2 days, I made these sweet skewers, with the idea of showing them one of those sweets that my mother ate when she was little. :))

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 400 ml of milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • bread slices

Preparation Sweet margarines:

In a bowl, mix the eggs well with the sugar and vanilla extract. Slowly pour the milk and mix.

Soak the bread slices in this mixture, then fry them in the pan with a little oil. Fry over low heat on both sides, then remove on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.

Serve hot. Add a tablespoon of chocolate ice cream, some berries and a little chocolate sauce. You will have a fabulous breakfast. 😉 Or dinner! :))
