Donut recipe with yogurt

Because it’s Monday and because we are worse off with the desire for elaborate recipes, I propose a donut recipe with yogurt, as fast as possible 😉 Few ingredients and a delicious result.

  • 200 g of drinking yogurt
  • 200 g flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • frying oil
  • Raspberry Sauces:
  • 150 g frozen raspberries
  • 3 tablespoons sugar

Preparation Donuts with yogurt:

In a bowl, beat the egg with a pinch of salt until it doubles in volume. Add the vanilla extract, sugar and yogurt. At the end, incorporate the flour mixed with baking powder and mix well.

Heat oil in a saucepan or kettle.

With a teaspoon we take from the composition and with our finger we push in the oil bath. Fry on both sides over low heat.

  • Donuts will not grow large, otherwise there is a risk of remaining raw inside.
  • After immersing the composition in oil, leave for a few seconds and turn to the other side. This way they will keep their round, beautiful shape. Then fry well on all sides.

Remove on a napkin to absorb excess oil.

Raspberry Sauce:

Put the raspberries in a saucepan and sprinkle the sugar on top. Put the pan on low heat and boil until the sauce reaches the desired consistency.

  • You have to keep in mind that the sauce thickens even after cooling.
  • If you want you can strain it from seeds, only if you want a very fine sauce
