A chocolate cream cake , with which we celebrated Sergiu, the boy of some very dear friends. I know Sergiu as a baby, the most beautiful baby I have ever seen (up to mine, obviously :))))), the child who made me want to have my children too. 🙂 And since he is so dear to me, I couldn't refuse the challenge of making him a guitar-shaped cake, his newest passion.

I don't have many pictures, but I have witnesses that it was good. :)))

Ingredients:

  • For the guitar body:
  • 100 g milk chocolate
  • 100 g butter
  • 6 eggs
  • 100 g sugar
  • 150 g flour
  • 2 tablespoons black cocoa
  • 1 baking powder
  • orange powder
  • For the cream:
  • 150 g milk chocolate
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
  • For syrup:
  • 100 g sugar
  • ~ 100 ml water
  • For deck, head and sound hole
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 50 ml whipped cream
  • 50 g butter
  • To decorate the sides of the guitar:
  • 100 ml liquid cream
  • 1 tablespoon black cocoa
  • To decorate the body of the guitar:
  • 200 ml liquid cream
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee (ness)

How to prepare Guitar Cake:

Guitar body top:

The broken chocolate pieces melt together with the butter over low heat or in the microwave. Then mix until the composition becomes creamy. Add the sugar and mix until well incorporated and melted. Then follow the eggs one by one, mixing well after each one. At the end we incorporate flour mixed with cocoa, baking powder and orange powder.

The obtained composition is poured into a tray (25/35 cm) lined with baking paper and put in the oven over medium heat for about 40 minutes. Remove the baking tray from a grill and leave to cool.

For the griffin I baked another countertop from the same ingredients and quantities. I cut a strip, and I used the rest of the countertop for a cake that I think I'll show you soon.

Cream:

Melt the chocolate over low heat with the whipped cream. Bring to the boil, set aside and mix well. Refrigerate for a few hours, until it cools very well and hardens. Mix a little until the cream becomes fluffy, then incorporate the mascarpone that I mixed separately with the vanilla sugar.

Syrup:

The sugar is caramelized and then "quenched" with water. Leave to cool until the caramel melts.

The top is cut to form the body of the guitar, then cut in half. We will do the same with the claw band.

We will syrup the tops, then we will put the cream between them. Put in a cool place until we prepare the whipped cream and cream for garnish .

Before decorating the cake, we will cover it in a thin layer of whipped cream. (~ 100 ml)

Bridge, head and sound hole:

Melt the chocolate together with the whipped cream and butter. Homogenize and leave to cool.

Guitar sides:

Mix the whipped cream until it becomes fluffy, then add the cocoa and mix well.

Guitar body decoration cream:

Mix the whipped cream until it becomes fluffy, then add the coffee and mix well.
