Of course, the simplest option is to order from fast food, but it is not the healthiest solution. So, if you want to eat something tasty but also healthy, we suggest you learn to prepare yourself, at home, the recipe for delicious American burgers.
A first step is to make some suitable hamburger buns. They do not have to be very thin, because they will not be tasty enough. On the other hand, be careful that they are not too thick, because they will be difficult to eat and will not be soaked enough with sauces and juice left by the meat.
If you can't find the ideal buns on the market (although I've seen some tasty ones with seeds), you can consider preparing them yourself at home; it's not very complicated and they will definitely be tastier than any other option.
For the best burgers you then need a perfect meat. The burger recipe involves the use of a marbled beef with a fat content of about 20%. If you prefer a dietary option, you can opt for something lower, with a percentage of 15% fat. Ideally, you should have a mincer so that you can prepare the mixture yourself, from the meat that you liked the most. Once you have chopped it, form the burgers for the right size. Don't forget that, when fried, they shrink.
When it comes to burgers, the original recipe involves grilling them, but this is not always possible. They can also be cooked very well on a hot plate, on an electric grill, on a cast iron grill or even in a pan, although it is preferable to have the grill markings at the end. It is essential that a homemade burger is tasty, so the recommendation is to cook it over high heat, for 3 minutes on each side. When you turn them over, sprinkle them with freshly ground pepper and salt; you don't want to mask the taste of beef with other spices.
Cut the buns in half and fry them a little on the grill, until they become soft and fluffy.
