Healthy cereal bars with marshmallows and peanut butter

Good I found you my dears, after a short but well deserved :))) break. I didn't have time to say goodbye, but you know what it's like with the preparation fever… the emotions before leaving… the mountain of luggage… :))

Among all these activities I managed to make some absolutely delicious and only good cereal bars for a long road snack. 😉

Healthy cereal bars with marshmallows and peanut butter

Ingredients:

  • 40 g brown sugar
  • 40 g sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g cornflakes
  • 50 g of expanded rice
  • 50 g dried fruit (papaya and pineapple)
  • 50 g dark chocolate

Preparation Cereal bars:

The 2 types of sugar are mixed in a saucepan and caramelized easily. Then add honey and butter (watch out for the steam that forms), put the bowl back on the fire and mix until smooth. We will get a creamy sauce for whipped cream. Add the chocolate and mix well. Allow to cool.

In a bowl, mix the cereal flakes with the finely chopped dried fruits (I crushed them on the robot so that they would not be detected by sensitive tongues :))

Pour the chocolate sauce on top and mix gently until all the cereals are covered.

Pour the mixture into a tray lined with baking paper and level. Press well with the back of a spoon, so that the composition is homogeneous and well leveled.

Refrigerate for about 1 hour, until it hardens, then with a sharp knife, portion as desired.
