If yesterday we remembered our childhood with some good slices of biscuit salami , what would we say if today we enjoyed a homemade chocolate, another dessert that sweetened our childhood? 😉
I like homemade chocolate, I've always made it in various combinations, but I still can't get enough of it. Every time I go shopping, a box of powdered milk clings to my hand to be there, in case of extreme urgency and appetite. 😀 This time I made the version without cocoa and I enriched it with coconut flakes and dried cranberries.
- 200 g sugar
- ~ 250 g milk powder
- 150 g butter
- 100 ml water
- vanilla essence
- dried cranberries
- coconut flakes
How to prepare homemade chocolate with cranberries:
We boil water and sugar. After it starts to boil, let it boil for a few more minutes, until the foam accumulates on top and the syrup flows thicker from the spoon. Add the butter, mix well until it melts, then add the vanilla essence to taste.
In a bowl, mix the powdered milk with the coconut flakes and dried cranberries.
Depending on your preferences, you can also add nuts, hazelnuts or pistachios.
Pour the sugar syrup on top, mix vigorously and mix the composition well.
Do not pour all the syrup at once. Depending on the type of milk powder, less may be needed. Or, put it all together and add more powdered milk. 😉
Wallpaper a tray with cling film and put chocolate. We spread it with a hand greased with a little butter, to the desired thickness.
Wrap in foil and let it cool until it hardens very well and can be portioned.
