Homemade chocolate is one of our favorite desserts and could not be missed on the Christmas table. It prepares very quickly and easily and disappears just as quickly from the plate.
- 140 ml of water
- 220 g sugar
- 380 g milk powder
- 60 g cocoa
- 140 g butter
- rum essence
- 50g pecans
Method of preparation:
Put the water with the sugar on the fire. When it starts to boil (over medium heat) let it simmer for another 6-7 minutes until the composition looks like a syrup.
Sift cocoa and milk powder separately. Remove the syrup from the heat and add the butter and rum essence and then mix. Pour the syrup over the dry ingredients and mix well so that it does not remain lumpy.
Add the chopped walnuts and mix the composition.
Line a small tray with food-grade plastic wrap and add the chocolate, then level and leave to cool (not in the fridge). After it has cooled completely, it can be refrigerated for a few hours, then it can be cut.
