homemade pizza healthy toppings – it’s pizza time!

I'm lazy! Da 'lene rau! :)) And what do we do in this situation? Pizza, obviously! :)) It's done quickly, you can use as topping whatever comes to mind and whatever you have available in the fridge… and of course, the children will be delighted 😉

homemade pizza healthy toppings – it’s pizza time!

  • Pizza dough:
  • 1 teaspoon dried yeast
  • 150 ml water
  • ~ 300 g flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • For topping:
  • turkey ham (recipe HERE )
  • wild mushrooms
  • red bell peppers
  • olives
  • cheese
  • For the tomato sauce:
  • 1/2 canned tomatoes in juice
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • oregano and basil

Pizza preparation method:

Pizza dough:

Put the flour in a bowl and mix it with the dry yeast, salt and sugar. Make a hole in the middle, add the olive oil and warm water and knead until you get a homogeneous and relatively soft dough. Cover the bowl with cling film and leave to rise until it doubles in volume.

Spread the dough in a thin sheet on the table sprinkled with flour, then transfer it to the tray well greased with oil and lined with flour or baking paper.

Prepare the tomato sauce: put all the ingredients in a blender and mix until the mixture becomes homogeneous. Pour in a homogeneous layer over the pizza top.

We can keep a little to put on top when serving.

Place diced turkey ham, wild mushrooms, sliced peppers and olives in place. Cover with a layer of cheese and bake on medium heat for about half an hour, until the top is browned.

Serve and serve hot. A few valerian leaves placed on top at the time of serving will make a difference! 😉

Good appetite! 🙂
