As I said in the last post, chocolate cream is too thick to be consumed as such, than in small portions. So I used it in some delicious and easy to make cake recipes . One of them is this.
- 4 eggs
- 100 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 50 g milk powder
- 50 g starch
- 150 g flour
- 10 g baking powder
- 50 g dark chocolate
- esenta de rom
- For decoration:
- ~ 250 g chocolate cream
- 200 ml whipped cream
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 whipped cream hardener
Preparation of muffins with chocolate cream:
The soft butter at room temperature mixes with the sugar and rum essence until it becomes creamy. Then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each one.
Separately mix the flour with the powdered milk, starch, baking powder and a pinch of salt, then incorporate the mixture into the butter cream. Cut the chocolate with a knife and incorporate it into the composition, mixing lightly with a spoon.
The muffin tray is lined with paper baskets for muffins. We put the composition with a spoon, filling about 3/4 of the height of the form. Bake over medium heat for about half an hour, until golden brown.
Remove to a grill and leave to cool.
Beat the whipped cream with the mixer at low speed until it starts to gain consistency. Add sugar and whipped cream and beat until hardened.
We put in the posh for garnishing a spoonful of chocolate cream and a spoonful of whipped cream, alternately, then we decorate the cooled muffins.
With this recipe I will participate in the October challenge "Sweet Romania" , its theme, proposed by Raluca, being cupcakes, muffins or muffins.
