I like lasagna because it is one of those dishes that you can play with and you can make various and delicious combinations. And if I kept making meat lasagna , even cheese, I said I should try a mushroom lasagna . Now I don't know if it's the fault and the period "I love mushrooms" 😀 but I made a great lasagna. Obviously you have to do it and don't take my word for it! :))

Ingredients:

  • 9 lasagna sheets (depending on how big the bowl is)
  • For the filling:
  • 500 g brown mushroom mushrooms
  • ~ 250 g Pleurotus mushrooms
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 small clove of garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tablespoons parmesan
  • For Bechamel sauce:
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 300 ml milk
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • Furthermore:
  • Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top

How to prepare Lasagna with mushrooms:

Finely chop the mushrooms, as well as the onion.

Put the onion in a few tablespoons of olive oil. When it has softened a little, add the mushrooms. Stirring from time to time on the fire until the mushrooms soften and reduce all the juice left by them. Salt and pepper to taste, add crushed garlic and Parmesan cheese. Homogenize and leave to cool.

Meanwhile, we prepare the Bechamel sauce . Melt the butter over low heat, then add the flour and mix quickly, so that no lumps form. Pour the cold milk and mix well. Season to taste with salt, pepper and nutmeg and cook until the sauce reaches the desired consistency. It would be preferable for the sauce to be more liquid, not very thick.

In a heat-resistant bowl greased with oil we put a layer of lasagna sheets (uncooked), we put a layer of Bechamel sauce, then a layer of mushrooms.

We repeat the operation until we finish the ingredients, the last layer being of sheets that we grease again with Bechamel sauce and sprinkle with plenty of Parmesan.

  • The bowl in which I prepared the lasagna was not very tall and only allowed me to make 3 layers of sheets, but you can also put 4

Put the pot in the oven over medium heat until it browns nicely on top and the sheets are soft (try with a fork).

Allow to cool and portion as desired.
