A hot day is announced, so we will prepare a lemonade so we can cope with the heat.
I had a package of lavender in the closet for some time, received as a gift from my dear friend Lubita. And if until now I didn't really know what to do with lavender, now I know that only the summer is long. :)))
Those who do not like lavender can make a lemonade with strawberries (or any other fruit) or a simple lemonade flavored with a few mint leaves.
2 teaspoons dried lavender
3 tablespoons sugar
500 ml of water
ice cubes and mint leaves for serving
Mix in a bowl water with sugar and dried lavender. Boil on low heat for about 5 minutes. Cover and let it infuse for about half an hour.
Strain and put in a carafe. Add lemon juice and water (very cold) if we consider it necessary. You will do the same with sugar, if you like sweeter lemonade, add more sugar or honey.
Put the carafe with lemonade in the fridge until completely cooled.
Serve with ice cubes, lemon slices and mint leaves.
