From the series of homemade meat dishes, along with Chicken Roll , Chicken Appetizer Check or Homemade Pastrama , today I bring you a very simple recipe to prepare, but very tasty, spicy and not at all pretentious.
Meat roll is one of the dishes that can successfully replace the commercial ones.
You can prepare the meat roll right at home, adding exactly the spices you like.
Ideal for sandwiches, hot / cold appetizers, with a salad of cooked vegetables or a garlic sauce, the meat roll is also quite economical.
Let’s see how I prepared this meat roll , how simple and how well it turned out!
Preparation time: 2 h Nr. servings: 12
- 1 kg pork leg (slightly breaded)
- sweet Boya
- 1 onion
- 1 carrot
- 3 lg sunflower oil
- 2-3 lg pesmet
- hot Chilli
- garlic powder
The meat is cut into small pieces. Chop on the machine / robot twice.
Add salt, pepper, paprika.
Carrot and onion are cleaned, washed and finely chopped / grated. Add over the meat composition.
Add the oil, even if it is pork. When baked, it will become juicier.
Mix the whole composition and let it cool for about 30 minutes.
Start the oven at 150 degrees C.
Prepare a baking sheet, place the meat in the form of a roll, fold it well. Wrap in aluminum foil, place in a baking dish and place in the oven. Leave for about 70-80 minutes, then remove from the oven. Carefully remove the aluminum foil and baking foil, paying attention again to the steam. Powder the meat roll with a mixture of breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder and salt and put it back in the oven for another 2-3 minutes. Remove, leave to warm, then wrap in baking paper and refrigerate.
At the time of serving, for an extra appearance, powder with a little more paprika.
It is served as a cold appetizer, along with seasonal vegetables or a tasty salad!
