meat tarts midsommar recipe for easter

* For the dough:

* 150 g butter
* 300 g flour
* 1 or
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1 teaspoon thyme

Mix flour with salt, baking powder and thyme. Soft butter and egg are added over the flour and knead an elastic, non-sticky dough.

* For the filling:

* 1 chicken breast
* 1 onion
* 4 cloves garlic
* 1/2 cup tomato juice
* 1 or
* green parsley
* basil
* salt and pepper
* 50 g of cheese sprinkled on top

Chicken breast is chopped. Finely chopped onion and garlic, lightly fry in a few tablespoons of olive oil. Add the meat and stirring constantly, stirring on all sides until white. Add the tomato juice, cover with a lid and simmer until all the juice is gone. The taste of salt, pepper and basil matches. Set aside and leave to cool. After it has cooled, add finely chopped green parsley, egg and mix.

Spread 2/3 of the dough in a thin sheet, slightly larger than the diameter of the tart pan. Put the dough in the pan, spread it well and prick it from place to place with a fork. Distribute the meat filling, level and cover with a thin layer of grated cheese. From the rest of the dough we cut strips, cut various shapes, according to preference, which we put on top of the tart.

Put the pan in the oven over medium heat until golden brown.

It is served hot, but it is good and cold.
