meatballs with tomato sauce panlasang pinoy

I don't know why, my family likes minced meat, whether it's meatballs or meatballs or, not to mention, sarmale. For this reason I prefer to chop the meat at home and do what they want. For today I chose to make these meatballs with tomato sauce, a simple recipe, but with a fragrant and delicious end result. Do you want it too? :))

For meatballs:

1 chicken breast
1 carrot
1 or
salt and pepper
2 tablespoons rice

Chop the meat, then mix it with the grated carrot, egg and rice. Salt and pepper to taste. Form the meatballs by hand greased with oil and boil them in salted water. Boil them over medium heat until they rise to the surface.

For the sauce:

1 large onion
1 red bell pepper
1 can of tomatoes in juice
1/2 clove of garlic
salt and pepper
oregano and basil

Finely chopped onion, lightly fry in a little olive oil and 1 tablespoon of water. When the onion has softened, add the canned tomatoes, which I put in a blender and the finely chopped pepper. It matches the taste of salt and pepper, it is flavored with oregano and basil.

Add the meatballs and a little water, as long as you need to boil the vegetables and meat well. Boil until the sauce decreases and reaches the desired consistency.

Near the end, add the crushed garlic, mix well and add a few more boils.

Serve hot.
