Recipe Molded cake with caramelized apples
- 3 eggs
- 100 g old powder
- 9 tablespoons oil
- 9 tablespoons milk
- 12 tablespoons flour
- 1 baking powder
- vanilla essence
- For caramelized apples:
- 4-5 medium-sized apples
- 200 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 1 tablespoon starch
I had this cake recipe in mind for a long time, but every time I "stumbled" for a good reason to postpone it. One of them was also lazy :)))) to cut the apples into cubes. So, Salad Chef Smart fell flat to make the cake molded with caramelized apples 😉 The result is… spectacular. Good! 🙂
Preparation Molded cake with caramelized apples:
The apples are washed and cut into quarters. Remove the spines. Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice.
Mount the diced accessory on Salad Chef Smart and press the device with a firm movement.
In a large bowl, caramelize the sugar. When it has become liquid, add the butter and mix until smooth. Add the apples and cook for a few minutes, until the apples soften a little, during which time they will leave quite a lot of juice. Put the starch (in the rain) over the apples and mix well. Leave it on the fire for a while, until the caramel thickens a little. Set aside and leave to cool.
Mix eggs with a pinch of salt until they turn white and double in volume. Add powdered sugar, vanilla essence, oil and milk, then flour mixed with baking powder. We will have a composition like a thicker cream, just like the cake.
Pour half of the composition into the tray (20/30 cm) lined with baking paper and put in the oven heated to 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes, until the top takes on consistency. Remove the tray, evenly distribute the caramelized apples and cover with the other half of the dough.
Put it back in the oven for about 30 minutes, until the cake is lightly browned on top.
Portion after cooling.
Try the cake with hardened apples . It's great!
