It’s very good! I made dinner last night, but it stayed in the morning. It’s good and warm, but also the next cold day, next to a glass of yogurt.

Ingredients:

  • Ptr. it took:
  • 500 g flour
  • 250 ml of hot water
  • 25 g of yeast
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Ptr. filling:
  • 2 large onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 500 g canned mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped greens (dill, parsley)
  • salt, ground pepper
  • 150 g cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • Ptr. greased on top:
  • 1 yolk
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Preparation:

First we prepare the dough : mix the flour with the salt in a large bowl. Mix the yeast with the sugar in a bowl until it liquefies, then add a few tablespoons of water and pour it over the flour together with the water and oil. Knead the dough approx. 10 minutes with oiled hands. Cover with a kitchen towel and leave to rise for about an hour.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling : put the mushrooms to drain in a sieve. Chop the onion and garlic and put them in a hot oil over low heat until they become glassy. Add the mushrooms, mix well, then add the tomato paste mixed with a cup of warm water. Bring to the boil until the water drops, season with salt and pepper and add the greens, then allow to cool.
Beat eggs with a pinch of salt, add the cheese and mix well, then pour over the mushrooms and mix.

Divide the dough into two equal parts and spread a rectangular sheet on the floured table. Put half of the filling in the middle of the sheet, and slice the edges into 1 cm strips with a knife. We pass over a filling a strip of dough on the right and then on the left, until we cover the whole filling. Do the same with the second sheet. Carefully place the pies in the tray lined with baking paper and cover them with a towel. Leave them in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Mix the yolk with the milk and, with the help of a brush, grease the pies, and then sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake for approx. 40 minutes until nicely browned.
