I was very happy when I found wild mushrooms at the supermarket. Frozen, that's right. And combined with potato niscavai. But it didn't matter, I wanted them so much. 😀

From the first bag I "dug" the potatoes :))) and I made a simple mushroom stew , so… only good to feel their taste. In the second bag, I flirted with several culinary recipes from an older cookbook, eventually reaching this stew recipe. 😉

  • 1 bag mixture of wild mushrooms with potatoes (400 g)
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 canned tomatoes in their own juice
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 glass of white wine
  • 1 piece of turkey breast (~ 200g)
  • green parsley
  • salt and pepper

How to prepare mushroom stew with meat:

Saute finely chopped onion in a few tablespoons of olive oil. Add the diced turkey breast and stirring constantly, heat the meat until it turns white. Put the mixture of mushrooms and potatoes, tomatoes with canned juice, chopped bell pepper, wine and water so that they are all covered. Cover with a lid and simmer until the meat is well cooked and the juice has dropped enough. Add the crushed garlic, salt and pepper to taste. At the end, for a special flavor, sprinkle chopped green parsley.

Serve hot with polenta. Delicious! 😉
