Negresa  Cake – blackberry brownies recipe


  • 100 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 ml liquid whipped cream (sweet cream for whipped cream)
  • 250 ml milk
  • 280 g flour
  • 1 baking powder
  • For the glaze:
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 50 g butter
  • 50 ml liquid cream

How to prepare Negresa Cake:

Beat the butter at room temperature with the sugar until fluffy. Melt the chocolate in the microwave and add a little butter. Eggs follow, one by one, mixing well after each one. Pour the whipped cream and milk, then add the flour mixed with baking powder.

The obtained composition is poured into a tray (25/35 cm) lined with baking paper and put in the oven over medium heat for about 30-40 minutes. The toothpick is tested. Remove the top on a grill and leave to cool.

For the icing, melt the chocolate together with the butter and liquid cream, over low heat on the stove or in the microwave. Homogenize and leave to cool. The cooled glaze is poured over the counter, leveled and left to cool, until the glaze hardens. Garnish with chocolate curls and portion.
