Oatmeal patties with cottage cheese recipe

It's cool and good… and I opened the pie season. :)) Obviously Robert wanted the cheese pie, but I didn't feel like kneading it, so I turned to the puff pastry from the freezer. Fast and good!

Oatmeal patties with cottage cheese recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet of puff pastry dough
  • For the filling:
  • ~ 500 g of cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g sugar (or more, as you like sweet)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar flavored with lemon
  • For anointed:
  • 1 yolk
  • 2-3 tablespoons milk

Method of preparation:

The dough thaws at room temperature, but not at all, otherwise it becomes very difficult to work with.

In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese with the eggs and sugar. Mix until you get a homogeneous composition.

If you like, you can add some raisins to the filling.

Spread the dough, then put a strip of cheese on one of the edges. Roll the dough enough to cover the cheese and get a roll. Cut the roll with a sharp knife or a knife.

Repeat the operation until we finish the dough. And cheese, obviously! :))

We portion each roll depending on how big or small we want to make the pies.

Put them in a tray lined with baking paper, grease them with beaten egg yolk with a little milk and put them in the oven over medium to high heat until golden brown.

Serve hot or cold, as long as you resist them. :))
