The onion dishes are very tasty, so I would like to share this onion stew recipe with chicken meatballs.
My father makes some onions with a lot of onions, good for licking your fingers. Cooked slowly and without many spices, onions come out very tasty and sweet, which we really like.
In general, stews are tasty, juicy foods that many people like, including my dwarfs.
I recommend you try the veal stew recipe , prepared in a slow cooker or yolk stew. A delight in all cases.
Today I'm trying to make you want this onion stew with chicken meatballs . It turned out wonderful and that was due to the fact that it cooked slowly, stifled and came out very tasty.
Prepare a polenta, take some cucumbers out of the jar and have a boyar lunch :))
- 5-6 yellow onions
- 2 red onions
- 1 red bell pepper
- 50 ml of sunflower oil
- 100 gr tomato paste (broth)
- 500 gr minced meat (chicken)
- 1 onion
- 500 ml of water
- fresh rosemary
Method of preparation:
Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic to taste. Add a finely chopped onion. Mix well, then refrigerate for a few hours.
An hour before we prepare the stew, remove the meat from the cold, form meatballs of the right size, place them in a tray with baking paper and bake them in the preheated oven over high heat. Leave for 15-20 minutes, then turn and leave for another 10-15 minutes.
Separately, clean the onions and peppers. It is cut julien.
Heat a frying pan (preferably one with a large diameter) with oil, then add the chopped onion and pepper. Let the heat simmer at the beginning (be careful not to burn it ), then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes. This way it will turn out sweet, tasty.
When the meatballs are ready, transfer them to the pan. Leave for a few minutes.
Dilute the tomato paste in 300-400 ml of water. Pour over the onion in the pan. Mix lightly with a wooden spatula to homogenize the sauce over the onion. Leave everything on low heat, cook slowly and well. Add a pinch of salt and cover with a lid. If necessary, add a little more water.
Leave on low heat for about 30 minutes, until the sauce decreases and the onion turns brown. Adjust the taste with salt, if necessary. It is served with hot polenta or with homemade cakes, it goes crazy.
If you want, you can add 1 teaspoon of raw sugar over the sauce, I did not use sugar, but I know this tip from my grandmother. She used a teaspoon of sugar to eat vegetables, especially onions, peppers or peas.
You can choose to fry the meatballs, but in the oven they come out juicier and tastier.
Garnish with a few rosemary leaves if you like its aroma.
May it be useful to you!
