I strongly believe that the lack of sugar cannot be considered an impediment in enjoying a tasty, healthy and easy to prepare dessert.
If we take bananas as an example, they are a good source of “sweet” in certain doughs, and that’s really natural.
I made some fluffy pancakes with quince jam. I didn’t use sugar, I didn’t use butter or baking powder, but I pampered myself with an extremely tasty dessert.
I found the sugar-free quince jam at Natural Delights , where you can find a wide range of jams, syrups, sauces, homemade drinks.
Sugar-free quince jam is a natural jam made from fresh and fragrant quinces to which grape juice has been added, this being addressed to people who have a special diet. But not only!
Let’s see how I made these wonderful pancakes with quince jam !
- 2 very ripe bananas
- 2 eggs (optional)
- 300 ml of sweet milk
- 3-4 lg flour
- a pinch of salt
- quince jam (sugar free)
- almonds and pecans
Pass the bananas lightly with a fork. Add the eggs, a pinch of salt. Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous composition is obtained. Add the flour, incorporate, then dissolve with milk. The composition must be creamy, slightly dense to keep its shape in the pan. If you want the dough softer, supplement the amount of milk, and bake thin pancakes.
Therefore, the obtained composition is baked in the form of pancakes. Garnish with coarsely chopped ripe walnuts, delicious quince jam and fragrant cinnamon.
Serve with great appetite with a fruit tea! Proof that we can indulge ourselves at any time with a dessert without added sugar which is absolutely formidable!
