If years ago I didn't really like pasta and I prepared it every few months, now I can say that I became a big fan of them, especially those with white sauce. When I don't have the time or desire to prepare something more complicated, I limit myself to this type of pasta. They are very tasty and we like to serve them hot, some with a surplus of parmesan, with greens on top or with a drop of hot pepper jam. You will see that they are very simple and maybe you will put the recipe into practice.

Ingredients:

  • 200 gr sour cream for cooking
  • 100 gr cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 5-6 slices of fillet / ham muscles (pork, poultry, turkey)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 large clove of garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • dried oregano
  • 300 gr penne (or other pasta)
Method of preparation:
Put salt water in a pot, transfer it to the fire.
When the water boils, add the pasta and boil over medium heat.
Try one and when they are ready, drain the water.
Cut the ham into cubes.
Peel a squash, grate it and cut it in half.
Put a pan on the fire, add the oil, garlic and ham.
Stir, simmer until the ham is lightly browned.
Remove the garlic.
Add sour cream and cream cheese, stir until cream cheese is completely dissolved.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and oregano, then add the Parmesan cheese.
Stir gently until the Parmesan cheese is melted and the sauce becomes smooth.

Add the pasta, turn it over and let the pasta simmer for another 1-2 minutes, let the heat simmer.

Remove the pan from the heat when ready.
Serve hot!
