Or pieces of pizza with pepper salami and cheese. I tell you the word, you have to try at least once: they melt in your mouth not another, you feel like eating them hot!
- 400 g pizza dough – bought or made at home
- 100 g thinly sliced pepperoni salami
- 150 g of dried mozzarella or camembert cheese I used
- oil for greased tray
- 1 teaspoon Italian herb mixture
- 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese
Spread the dough evenly and cut into 5×5 cm squares. On each piece we place a slice of pepperoni salami, a cube of cheese and cover with another slice of salami (not to make mozzarella from those that are kept in water, better a dry cheese like homemade, I used this camembert I found handy). We take the piece of dough in the left hand and with the right we join the corners of the dough, taking care that the cheese remains covered with salami.
We put the packages thus obtained in a ceramic tray greased with oil, next to each other, until we fill the tray. Grease them on top with a little oil, cover them and leave them to rise for 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Sprinkle the Italian herbs over our packages, then put them in the oven for 15-20 minutes until lightly browned. In the last 5 minutes, take the tray out of the oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
