In general, on Sundays we make homemade pizza, it's a dedicated day 😉 I make the dough in the bread machine, then I divide it into 4 and everyone puts on their pizza what they think is appropriate. Today I opted for a pizza with broccoli, red onions and cheese. Excellent! I really liked it, and as I promised to bring you more broccoli recipes, here I am in front of you, maybe maybe I'll make you fall in love with "Mr. Broccoli" at least half as much as he loves me. 😉
- Pizza dough:
- ~ 500 g flour
- 7 g dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 250 ml of water or milk
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- For topping:
- Red onion
- goat telemea
- For the sauce:
- 1/2 can of tomatoes in its own juice
- salt and pepper
- 2-3 cloves garlic
- basil and oregano
Preparation Pizza with broccoli and cheese:
In a saucepan put boiling water. When it boils, add a little salt and a little nutmeg. We unwrap the broccoli in the right size bouquets, then we put it in boiling water and boil it for a few minutes, until it softens slightly. Pour into a strainer and let it drain well and cool.
The cheese is grated, the telemeau is crushed by hand or with a fork. Cut the onion into rings, sprinkle with a little salt and rub between your fingers, loosen and soften a little.
Put the tomatoes in a blender with the rest of the ingredients and mix until smooth.
The dough can also be prepared in a bread machine. Put the ingredients in the bread machine tub in the order listed, then use the kneading + leavening program.
For those who knead by hand: put flour in a bowl and mix it with dry yeast, salt and sugar. Make a hole in the middle, add the olive oil and warm water and knead until you get a homogeneous and relatively soft dough. Cover the bowl with cling film and leave to rise until it doubles in volume.
Spread the dough by hand in a thin sheet on a piece of baking paper sprinkled with a little corn. Grease with tomato sauce, cover the whole surface with broccoli bouquets and onion rings, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, goat's milk and grated cheese.
Put the pan in the oven over medium heat for about half an hour, until the top is browned.
Serve and serve hot.
Good appetite! 😉
