Is that how I'm a little behind? :)))
This is the cake I prepared for New Year's Eve. A cake with poppy seeds and white chocolate cream. Buuuun :). :))
* For countertop:
* 200 g butter
* 150 g sugar
* 100 g mac
* 5 eggs
* 1 baking powder
* 2 dogs flour
* vanilla essence
We soak the poppy in hot water for 1 hour, then we drain it well in a thick sieve.
We rub the butter well, at room temperature, well with the sugar (powder) until it becomes like a cream. Add poppy seeds and vanilla and mix.
Separate the egg whites from the yolks. We add the latter, one by one, in butter cream, mixing well after each one.
Mix the flour with the baking powder and add it a little, in the butter cream with poppy seeds.
We beat the egg whites hard with a pinch of salt, as for meringue. Pour over the above composition and mix gently, with movements from bottom to top.
Pour the resulting dough into a round tray (24 cm) lined with baking paper and put in the oven over medium heat until it begins to brown.
* For the cream:
* 400 ml liquid cream
* 200 g white chocolate
* 1 sachet of Cream Vanilla Ole
We melt the broken chocolate together with the liquid cream. Homogenize and let cool, 1-2 hours.
We mix this composition and when it starts to thicken we add the pudding powder. Keep mixing until it hardens.
Cut the baked and cooled top into 2. We put the cream between the 2 tops.
Cover the cake with whipped cream and garnish as desired.
I wanted to make a "cake clock" for New Year's Eve. Therefore, I made 12 motifs of whipped cream, each marked by chocolate numbers.
I first drew the numbers on baking paper, then I painted them with the brush. :)) I put I think about 4 layers of chocolate, between each layer there is a freezer break of a few minutes. 🙂
During these breaks we had great pleasure to paint with chocolate. :)))
